Aber nur relativ zu den Uhren im Inertialsystem deines Bezugs.
Aus einem anderen relativ dazu bewegten IS sieht der Gang der Uhr anders aus,
im IS der U1 z.B. aendert er sich nicht weil relativ dazu die Bewegungsgeschwindigkeit
gleich ist.

Am Streckenanfang und Ende wird die Zeit abgelesen, und zwar auf der U2,
und auf Uhren des Bezugssystems. Dann werden die Zeitdifferenzen gebildet,
und daraus der Gang der Uhr berechnet relativ zum beobachtenden Bezugssystem,
er haengt von der Relativbewegung ab.

Da brauchst du kein Wunder sondern nur die Erkenntnis dass der Gang einer Uhr von
der Relativbewegung des Beobachters abhaengt, und die ist viel aelter als die RT,
denn das gibt es auch beim Dopplereffekt.
Was bei der RT anders ist, ist dass es auch einen Effekt gibt wenn die beobachtete
bewegte Uhr sich senkrecht zur Beobachtungsrichtung bewegt also ihre Entfernung nicht aendert, wo
eigentlich
kein Dopplereffekt auftreten duerfte...
