Eine Motivation dazu wird nirgendwo herkommen.

Es wird immer eine gewisse Anzahl duldsame Versuchsteilnehmer gefunden, die immense
finanzielle Risiken eingehen, ohne sich das vorher klarzumachen.
Nur wenige haben ein notwendiges technisches und finanzielles Einschätzungsvermögen.

Das mit Abstand Vernünftigste für die zukünftige Mobilität ist garantiert das pure E-Auto!

Der Rimac_Nevera mit 1914 PS und  0-400 km/h : 21 s  markiert eine absolute technische Bestleistung.
Autonom Level_4:
8 Kameras, Lidar, 6 Radar-Systeme, 12 Ultraschall-Sensoren.

Es kann aus Vorstehendem abgeleitet werden, welcher Aufwand für Level_5 notwendig ist:
Ich schätze einen 3..5-fachen Anspruch und Aufwand.

Ich hatte schon einmal geschätzt, daß Level_5 vielleicht erst 2045..2060 kommen wird.
