Nope.  OTOH Apple kept the intel surprise well locked down years before 
it leaked.

Apple love to control every part of the their products.  They design the 
An chips.  They don't have as much sway over intel.

Then there's what nospam says about XCode intermediate code generation. 
  (I don't use XCode - a much lighter IDE is all I need for my programming).
