Sheesh.  Suggestion.  Hints.  Indications.  Direction.  All supported by 
their past behaviour reinforced by their toolset, esp. XCode/LLVM, that 
supports changing or supporting multiple CPU's in a relatively painless 
way and of course the niggly little detail that they design their own 
processors.

Further Apple are hell bent for election to reduce energy consumption of 
their products so going to the lower energy demands of the An processors 
is one way to get there.  Back to RISC (ish) if you like.

Nobody outside Apple knew for sure that Apple would head to intel  until 
Apple announced it.  And at that announcement Jobs confirmed that OS X 
had been compiled for intel for several years.

This is all supposition and harmless speculation for _DISCUSSION'S_ 
sake, not some proof fest about whether it is true or not or backed up 
by irrefutable evidence.
