Some more oddities:

Mail no longer makes sounds, despite prefs setting

Mail checks for new mail every time you return to the program from 
another desktop (workspace) or dashboard, regardless of the time 
elapsed since the last check

External hard disk for backup no longer shows green Time Machine icon

Secure delete is gone
