True... but I like having one in my menu. I see the percent free at any
given time then can look with a single click to see how it is being used in
more detail.

Used to use Menu Meters to also show CPU usage... and before that iStat. I
would say iStat is the best of the options and, really, the price is not
much. Just not that important to me and the old dashboard widget still works
for me if I want to see details and temps and the like.
