Oh, believe me - there are lots of scenarios where I do.  It's 
especially handy for a single disk.  I leave a serial connection up all 
the time between my workhorse GS and a Mac Mini.  But there are times 
when I want to move a 32MB-size partition around, and then the speed 
tradeoff tips in the favor of hardware swap.
