There is no AppleShare over Ethernet. It's LocalTalk only now. It could be
done, but no one has done it yet.

Yes, you can auto mount at boot in GS/OS.

As long as it takes you to select it in the dialog box and type your
password (if any). If you have auto mount, it's even quicker.
