Martin Wurthner's really the guy to answer this but until he comes along.. What version of Easiwriter are you using? With Easiwriter 9.01 I don't appear to need an active Postscript printer. It just produces a PDF no problem from the Save dialogue. !Draw would be a different matter. If you intended to produce a PDF from Draw then you would have to have some means of producing a Postscript file and from that the PDF. There are various methods. I still tend to use the Postscript printer to print to disk and then use RiScript to produce the PDF but there are other methods including !PrintPDF and Ghostscript.
