But, at the time ... wow ... you could fit SO many 123 spreadsheets on it !!! A "state of the art" Xeon server is STILL over five figures actually - of course the PERFORMANCE is 20+ times more than the same thing a decade ago. What are they up to now, 60 cores, 4 or 6 chip boards ??? (but your SOFTWARE has to be writ to distribute the workload across all those cores properly :-)
