Or albasani closed the door in their faces in mid-meltdown ... except
that I think I've seen albasani posts that were made later.

Of course not. Not that that would have been an excuse even so. The old
Commodore VIC-20 had a BASIC interpreter and that language had full,
readable keywords like PRINT rather than abbreviated garbage like, say,
PRN. Commodore employed a clever trick: BASIC programs were stored (on
disk and in memory) *compressed*, with all of the common keywords
replaced with graphics characters with the high bit set. So, they were
abbreviated when the program was stored and manipulated *under the hood*,
but the source code the user worked with was nice and readable.
If they could figure out how to have their cake and eat it too in that
manner 30 years or so ago for a *toy computer*, they sure as hell could
have for all the tiny computers used for *real business*, nevermind for
modern machines with generous memory and disk space.

Maybe Morphy ought to be nominated for Coward of the ... hrm,
interesting, seems he already has. By me. And nobody has seconded it
yet. ;)

Of course.

Thoolen's such a Determinator, he'd have plowed through the entire site
in mere hours and been back even if he did step on it, which he therefore
very well might have.
Uh-oh, I think I just did it again. Argh ...
