Yes, they do, but they aren't IMMEDIATE.  So, there is no corruption of the
current word being compiled if used inside a definition, if that's what you
meant.

If extended to do word for both modes and compiled into a definition, they
would both CREATE at run-time, yes?  Something like so ...

Was CONSTANT supposed to be an IMMEDIATE?  That makes sense if
CONSTANT is IMMEDIATE.  Mine is not IMMEDIATE.  I must've
misunderstood you.  Example?
