I think the 256K*16 sram that GA already uses is enough for quite a lot
of purposes.  But 300uA for 32MB is pretty scary.  It would mean about
5mA for 0.5GB, common in recent smartphones.  I notice that the shiny
Samsung Galaxy S3 has 2GB in some configurations.

Whether 256K*16 is enough for the GA144 is just one issue.  Another
issue is that access to it is quite slow, like 200+ nsec.  It would be a
lot nicer to have a block of ram directly on the chip, like in FPGA's.
