I have a number of ideas, but I can't pitch it to a potential customer until I know the device can do the jobs I have in mind. Yes, work should be fun, but it is still work and something useful should be accomplished. I can do a text based video display with a standard single processor MCU and a little CPLD glue. Why would I care that Chuck can do it with 144 memory starved nanoprocessors? The advantage of the conventional MCU is that I can get high speed USB for free and likely other types of IO as well, not to mention app notes that actually app to something useful! Rick
