The internet at my contract is constrained to 8Mbs because we'er a startup inside another company. That's what they give us. So I use my 24Mbs broadband at home to suck down Centos 7, Scientific Linux 6.5, or any other flavor distro software development needs. I bought a 2TB USB drive just for this. Since you don't seem to be in a part of the country that has broadband, not upgrading is probably you're only option unless you vacation at a place where you can download the Install Yosemite app on a thumb drive. or you have relatives that have broadband that can help you out. Sucks to be on your internet. -- DeeDee, don't press that button! DeeDee! NO! Dee... [I filter all Goggle Groups posts, so any reply may be automatically ignored]
