'Sie', nicht 'er', aber das nur am Rande.

Dass es ein funktionierendes Business Modell gibt, liegt auf der Hand.
Google, Facebook und dergleichen verkaufen keine Motorsägen, Autos, oder
Müsli, und machen sehr beeindruckende Gewinne. Die machen da schon was
richtig.

Es geht hier nicht um Ufos, sondern um die Erklärung eines
Geschäftsmodelles.

Die Gruppen an sich sind, so vernünftig gestaltet, ja auch schon sehr
interessant. Aber ich sehe nicht, wieso die Einzelperson da nicht Objekt
sein sollte - im Gegenteil, das ist sie schon. Wer sich zu seiner
Autoversicherung einen Stecker in den OBD-Port seines Wagens stecken
lässt, wird sehr individuell behandelt.

Andere Baustelle, das sind Sachzwänge, die sich aus meiner Situation
ergeben. Hier geht's darum, meine vermeintlich freie Entscheidung, für
mich unsichtbar, zum Nutzen eines anderen vorherzusagen und zu
beeinflussen. Das muss einen nicht stören, kann es aber.

Zum Urlaub ein banales Beispiel, das vor einigen Jahren diskutiert
wurde: Auf Reisewebsites werden Angebote je nach User Agent des Nutzers
mehr oder weniger hoch bepreist bzw anders sortiert. Du magst der
Meinung sein, dass Du eine freie Wahl innerhalb des Angebotes hast, aber
das Angebot ist schon für Dich vorsortiert.
