Do YOU know sanskrit? Or Indian letters? or Chinese letters? C and Python do support any kind of Unicode in character strings and THAT IS ENOUGH! My argument was that if you understand greek letters, other cultures maybe do NOT. All programmers in all the world can read ASCII though.
