The phone is just too small (and dangerous?) to be squinting at when driving (IMO). But these days with TALKING phones I usually find it unnecessary to even glance much at the dashboard screen much less the phone's screen. I usually carry it in my shirt pocket so hearing's no problem. (And if it were the phone's audio can be piped into the car speakers by Bluetooth or direct USB connection.) Google (and Siri) even warn about which lane to be in for an upcoming maneuver. Amazing (to me anyway). A long way from the paper flip-over AAA Trip Tics I used to use some years back. Did they have those in Europe? With AAA standing for AMERICAN Automobile Association I suppose not...
