Why not take both along. I take a 10" W10 tablet AND a 10" Android
tablet on trips. Together they take about the same room in my suitcase
as my 14" LT would.

While I don't NEED any Android apps I likewise don't NEED any W10 apps.
Most operations I NEED or WANT can be done on either OS. But each OS has
its advantages depending on what you want to do so it's nice to have
both available.

BTW My Android tablet is modified so I have access to and use Android
apps from BOTH the Amazon and Google stores. Choice in UNNEEDED apps is
good... ;)
