They're included in each 8th distro; in the 'docs/vim' folder.  There's
likewise syntax files for emacs and bbedit.

You could just as easily install gvim on a Windows PC and use it there.

Yes, that's a lot :)

But if you do learn vim, you'll be able to use it on most any platform,
with most any language (human or computer).

The graphical version, gvim, is easier on the eyes IMO, since you can
change the colors and fonts used.  Every week it seems I need a bigger
font...
