What WAS that again, Odd? Quantum mechanical "spin" is a quantum mechanical property that has no macroscopic equivalent. It does, however, have units of angular momentum like an actual rotation would. Orbital angular momentum is equivalent to macroscopic rotation, however, even though it is quantized.
