Once again you are trying to apply what is common sense applicable to macroscopic things to where it doesn't apply, quantum physics. There is a theory many scientists hold that the size of the electron is zero. So what do you do to see if that may be the case? You freaking MEASURE it! And that's what they did. They did measure it, and got an answer that it is extremely small, and zero falls within the error range. That means the diameter COULD be zero, and the theory is not disproved. That is science, John. That is how science works.
