Of course not. The cosmic or galactic year is the time it takes a certain
particular star, the Sun, to go around the galaxy once.

Some stars take longer to orbit once.  Other stars orbit more quickly.  
Just like planets in the solar system. What is the rotation period of our
solar system?

You mentioned the cosmic year back in January (Message-ID:

what it was then. Why did you forget?  Too much Little Pharma? Do I have
to explain it a dozen more times before you catch on?
