"Infrared" and "ultraviolet" are words. They do not correspond to 
colors, precisely because they are not perceived. Notice that the 
ultraviolet range corresponds to a range of wavelengths comparable to 
the entire visible spectrum, which has lots of colors. So then you might 
ask why the ultraviolet range doesn't also correspond to at least as 
many colors rather than just the one word. That's because it's not 
perceived.

There's a reason why scientists don't consider color and wavelength to 
be synonymous as you are. If YOU PERSONALLY want to consider them 
synonyms, then I suppose nobody will stop you. But once again, all 
that's happening is your bending of words and their meanings to suit 
your agenda and past-time is wasting time on that agenda.
