Ich wollte GEMINI mal eine Chance geben. Derzeit nutze ich fleißig und
mehrmals täglich ChatGPT und bin zunehmend begeistert. Vor allem die
Klartext-Aufgaben lassen meine jahrzehntelange SQL-Erfahrung im Nirvana
verschwinden.

Als Google-Fan habe ich mich dann mal mit GEMINI beschäftigt. Auch
GEMINI erschien mir leistungsfähig. Also buchte ich mal GEMINI ADVANCED.
Zusätzlich zu allen Funktion der KI bekommt man 2 TB Speicher auf dem
Google Drive.

Aber GEMINI kann lange nicht so virtuos mit Dokumenten umgehen. Schon
Anfragen wie "Formatiere die CSV-Datei so um, dass Daten und Felder 1
und 2 vertauscht sind" lässt GEMINI verzweifeln.

Abgesehen davon kann GEMINI zwar Ergebnisse in ein Google Doc
verwandeln, umgekehrt aber nichts zum Download zur Verfügung stellen.
Also wollte ich das Abo innerhalb des Testzeitraums wieder zurückstellen.

Großer Fehler!

Ich hatte 100 GB auf Google Drive und das reicht inzwischen seit 2018
immer aus. Nun schaltet mich Google auf 15 GB zurück, wenn ich GEMINI
kündige. Es gibt keinen anderen Tarif mehr als 15 GB oder 2 TB.

Also Warnung: GEMINI nicht ausprobieren. Ihr kommt nicht mehr in den
vorherigen Stand und müsst nun 21.- € monatlich berappen. Auch wenn Ihr
GEMINI weder benutzt noch haben wollt.

Schade, Google. Die Google-Suche fühlt sich inzwischen eh an wie eine
Postkutsche aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Google hat geschlafen und schläft
offenbar immer noch. Und nun tricksen sie auch noch.
