AMD 6600
Momentan erwäge ich, die durch eine AMD 6800 XT zu ersetzen.
Und dann ein 850 W (Titanium?) Netzteil einzubauen.
Die alte 6600 Karte will ich zusammen mit einer neuen 6600 Karte
in 2 alte PCs einzubauen, um die mini display port Verbindungen
loszuwerden. Und nur 1 statt 2 KVM Umschalter zu benutzen.

Die Alternative ist mehr PCs, einer für den 100 W Normalbetrieb,
( Editieren, Python Verwaltungsprogramme ..)
und einer für die besonderen Anlässe ( Simulationen, Grafik, KI )

Das klingt so, als würden Pkws am effizientesten bei 180 kmh sein,
und nicht bei 50kmh im Stadtverkehr.
Wenn ich auf die Tachos der Pkws schaue,
rätsele ich, wo wollen die ihre 240 kmh fahren?

der von seinen 16-64 GB RAM meist auch nur 1-2 GB RAM verwendet,
und, bis auf Filmaufnahmen, auch nur einen kleinen Teil seiner
Festplatten.
p.s. von den 48 GB seiner bei Ubuntu 22 installierten Programme ..
p.s.2 Die größte Verschwendung dürfte IMHO im browser
durch grr JavaScript Programme stattfinden.
