Well you must be doing something now, but 6-7 GB per day is a lot of
data to be adding to your disk drives and backing up, no?

Maybe in 6 years, it won't seem like so much.

I don't know if your 6-7 GB per day is for professional purposes.  If
it is, it is probably outside of what iCloud is set up to handle
well.  If it isn't for professional use, then you are a couple
standard deviations away from the average amateur, so again not so
surprising that tools designed for the average user aren't incredibly
satisfactory.
