Photoshop would kill you with its ambiguities and complexity. It
sharpens and blurs, lightens and darkens, inverts and reverts, rotates
and de-rotates, removes noise and adds noise, colorizes monochrome and
desaturates color, enlarges and reduces, makes greens red and reds
green, saturates and desaturates, straightens and distorts, makes
layers and flattens them again, extrudes and flattens, works
full-screen or in a window, opens RAW and jpeg, is translucent and
opaque, has video layers and still layers and no layers, and I had to
omit 95% of it for the sake of brevity. Take my word for it--like
iTunes, Photoshop is far too complex for the likes of you. And don't
even think of high-end non-linear video editing!
