Ich waere dankbar, wenn es etwas gaebe, dass Networking so einfach wie 
bei Windows macht. Aber man kann nicht immer alles haben, muss ich eben 
durch.

UNC hatte ich natuerlich probiert, ging nicht :-(

Ja, scheinbar muss das wirklich ueber fstab gemacht werden. Das muss ich 
mir erst reinziehen, damit es nicht hinterher eine pilzformige Wolke 
gibt. Auch wenn man m.W. mit "mount -a" erstmal probieren kann.

Laestig ist das, weil man z.B. nicht auf freigegebenen Shares 
mitgebrachter Gastrechner kaeme (die haben ja immer Windows). Jedenfalls 
nicht ohne Terminal-Geklimper. Ich versuche derzeit, ob man nicht mit 
der Linux-Software gigolo das ganze komfortabler ueber GUI machen kann. 
Die man-pages dazu sind allerdings fuer Linux-Anfaenger wie mich sehr 
spartanisch.
