Mit Gnumeric passiert interessanterweise folgendes. Versuche ich auf die 
/Public Directory des NAS zu gehen, erscheint die Fehlermeldung "Could 
not read the contents of Public - Not a directory" (es ist aber 
natuerlich eine Directory). Beim zweiten Versuch erscheint diese 
Directory jedoch in einer separaten Zeile zur Auswahl im File Menue, man 
kommt von dort aus in die Unter-Directories und kann auch speichern. 
Weiss der Henker warum, aber im Gegensatz zu LibreOffice und OpenOffice 
geht es dann. Diese extra Zeile ist "sticky", erscheint also auch nach 
Schliessen und wieder Oeffnen von Gnumeric, aehnlich wie ein Mount.

Gnumeric ist damit schonmal als Spreadsheet grossenteils geeignet. Mit 
Einschraenkungen, weil z.B. die Druckvoransicht nicht funktioniert. Muss 
man also blind drucken lassen, aber vorlaeufig ok. Schoen ist, dass die 
Filter fuer Daten nicht buggy sind, das war bei LibreOffice echt ein Krampf.

Bei Abiword ist es das gleiche, erst "Could not read the contents of 
Public - Not a directory" und dann liess es mich beim zweiten Mal durch.

Vielleicht sind solche Einzelloesungen am Ende doch besser als grosse 
Office Programme. Sie moegen zwar einiges nicht bieten, aber der 
Netzwerkzugang funktioniert wenigstens einigermassen. Oder wenigstens 
nach einmal gegentreten :-)

OpenOffice lasse ich besser drauf, falls mal was fettes bearbeitet 
werden muss. Das geht derzeit nur, indem ich die Files mit Thunar oder 
einem anderen File Manager vom NAS abhole und spaeter wieder hinbringe.

Wie gesagt, andere Software macht in dieser Hinsicht kaum oder keine 
Zicken mit Linux. Habe mir gerade vom NAS den Anfang eines Agatha 
Christie Films angesehen (ja, ich bin aelteres Semster ...). guvcview 
setzt sauber Schnappschuesse auf dem NAS ab, GIMP oeffnet die 
problemlos, und so weiter. Nur die dicken Office Pakete zicken herum.
