Are you aware that about 75% of the Earth's surface is water?

Are you aware that the Earth's magnetic field is in constant flux? Pun
intended.

Most of the data for the Earth's magnetic field is from orbit, which
introduces yet more errors. There are only about 160 land based
measurement points on the entire planet.

Who is going to pay for this massive effort?
