It's much worse than that.

The World Magnetic Model High Resoluion (WMMHR2025) has a spatial
resolution of about 300 kilometers at the equator and about 200
kilometers at mid latitudes.

The accuracy is also highly dependent on the geomagnetic activity level.

This will never be a high accuracy geolocation system.
