Preventative medicine is alive and well. Free annual check-ups, nationwide screening schemes for breast and testicular cancers, education campaigns on the benefits of exercise and vegetables in your diet, more campaigns to educate on the dangers of drugs, alcohol and tobacco .... modern evidence-based medicine does a lot to keep people healthy. > > Actually a lot of common activities are not particularly healthy.
