I would think more of the engineering throughout so many of the books.
Machinery to add or remove star tattoos.  Inventing a new season.
Complex machinery thoughout most of his books.

I can never see the Green Ham book anymore without visualizing a
cartoon -- Miss Piggy and Kermit are asking "Sam" if he's seen their
son anywhere.
