Indeed.

If someone at work logs a problem with:

"I went to this URL and it did blah..."

and another person sends me an email (not logs a ticket) with some vague
complaint that project X from 80 projects "isn't working":

Guess which one gets looked at first?

That is not some BOFH attitude - I'm paid to look at both problems. Both
are usually equal priority. So the person who is succinct and
communicative gets their problem fixed (if possible) first because I
like to clear a few quick jobs before getting bogged down in long winded
and/or awkward ones - it's good for my psyche!

And the URL is enough for me to resolve:

a) Server name (via DNS)

b) Which apache VHOST and then which web component is exhibiting the
problem.

Yes I do tell people from time to time that giving me the URL is the
best bit of info they can give :)

I don't much care about spelling and grammar as long as it's still more
or less clear. However, when a student sends me something in SMS-speak
such as:

"pls can u fx this 4 me or my s-ay will be l8 k thx", it will get thrown
back on principle!
