i already did. if you are confused by legalese, consult a lawyer to

then why don't they do it?

if the user supposedly is allowed to, why have they decided to not
offer a feature the user is entitled to?

you keep saying it's completely legal, yet more than one company
disagrees.

what would prevent them from offering a feature the user is entitled to
do?? why would they even agree to that?

it makes no sense.

what does make sense is the eula says you can't and apple doesn't want
them doing something that lets the user breaks it.

that does not matter.

if there is nothing stopping the user from doing it, why would anyone
agree to such an agreement??
