there's nothing indefensible about what i said.

it's completely correct given the context and you know it. you even
agreed with it.

once again, when the skin effect is deeper than the thickness of the
wire itself, the skin effect is considered to be zero, i.e., there is
no skin effect. that much should be obvious and any electrical
engineering professor will agree.

that is true, you do, however, you also nitpick inconsequential
details, as you did above.
