There is one problem:

Paper seemed to be undisturbed by the event and was flying around in 
large quantities. Paper managed to stay readable, after being molten 
together with steel.

There is actually only one known phenomenon, where metal objects fuse 
together with wood (and similar materials) at low temperature:

the so called 'Hutchison Effect'.

In this experiment there is a specific 'hum' audible. Such a hum is also 
audible on a few videos, that have been made on 9-11 on the WTC area 
prior to the collapse.
