If you try and paint a picture, using Red, Blue and Green (which mixed will be White) and you add Red to make pink...you'll get White instead!

If you buy a jar of White paint, (Red, Blue and Green mixed) and you add Blue...you get White.

You can imagine all the problems one encounters
when trying to paint walls, pictures, etc using
the primary colors red, green, blue and getting White all the time!

So...a second Primary Color had to be ...invented,

Red, Blue and Yellow.

Yes, it is nonsense..but I didn't say that..

There are not "two 'primary' colors"; there are two sets of primary colors, with each set having three primary colors.  The reason for two sets is that each set pertains to a different process*.  The reason for three primary colors in each set has nothing to do with "earth", but rather with the nature of the visual perception system in humans.  The reason for your confusion about the word "primary" is because you don't understand how a dictionary works.  Like many words in the english language, 'primary' has multiple meanings; and you stupidly insist on applying the 1st definition you find in a dictionary to the term 'primary color'.

* Note that the mixing of paints is not purely a subtractive process. It's a complicated combination of both additive and subtractive color mixing (but subtractive does dominate).

Subtractive primaries really are subtractive.  But you are way to stupid to understand that.
The color range reproducible by any set of primary colors is not "*all* other colors, but rather a subset of perceivable colors.

You use the term 'colour' in different meanings. This is not helpful, if 
you want someone would understand what you write.

There is one meaning of the word 'colour' which denotes a substance. 
This is something like paint and the stuff an artist would use to paint 
a picture.

The other meaning denotes features of light, what also can have a 
colour. This light is emitted or reflected from something, which has in 
our impression this colour.

So: objects have colours and that is how we (as human beings) see them.

The impression of colours of objects come from the construction of the 
human eyes (and brain) and how we see.


If you want to mix colours, you should first make clear, which meaning 
of the term 'colour' you want to use.

Somehow it sounds like you want to mix yellow and blue paint. This would 
generate green paint.

This colour green is not the primary colour of the subtractive system 
used e.g. for printing, since that are yellow, magenta and cyan.

'Colour' is a term, which refers to how human beings are seeing.

So 'same colour' means, that something gives the same impression of 
colour in our brain then something else does.

Only: other beings do not share our impression. So same colour for us 
does not mean same colour for a bee or a bird.

Visible light is also only a small fraction of a way larger spectrum of 
possible frequencies. But humans can only see what is visible.

Other being can see other frequencies and also other phenomena than 
em-waves. E.g. birds can see magnetic fields.

So 'primary colour' stems from the construction of the human eye and is 
not really a physical question.

And obviously you are ignoring the difference between subtractive 
mixture of paint and additive mixture of light.
