Answer:
1.) subtractive mixture of colours above a white surface
2.) additive mixture of light of different colour on a black background

You can easily see the difference on your computer screen, if you use a 
strong magnifying lens.

Then you would see tiny dots in red, blue and green, which together 
create the impression of white.

If you subtract the colours, you use the opposite colours called yellow, 
magenta and cyan, (which is roughly yellow red and blue).

Definitely not !!!

If you mix white and blue paint you get light blue.
