There is another way, Ed, that is much better than what you have tried. What you are getting is a polite put-down. The problem is one of presumption on your part. You are asking physicists to discuss your ideas AS A PEER, as though your ideas should be discussed PROFESSIONALLY among PROFESSIONALS. This is what you mean when you say, "discussed in the scientific community outside of the Internet". That is the conversation that professional physicists have among themselves, and you want to be admitted to that conversation. You have not earned that. Here's in fact what you should do: Enroll in your local college, with the aim of taking a course in relativity. I GUARANTEE you that you will have the opportunity to discuss your ideas AND get them responded to carefully and thoughtfully by knowledgeable physicists in that venue. Fair warning: There is probably a prerequisite class in a physics survey course, but I think that's a good thing because you have some mistaken notions about basic physics as well. THAT is the channel by which you will have your ideas discussed in the scientific community. I think you have mistaken what's actually said by appending your own label of "illusion". Physicists will tell you that time dilation is not an intrinsic effect, but that it is real nonetheless. YOU are the one saying that, in your mind, this is impossible, and that only intrinsic effects are real and that anything else is an illusion. Physicists will strenuously disagree with you, as have many people on this forum including myself. This is not a dispute about time dilation, it is a dispute about basic concepts from basic physics, intrinsic vs. extrinsic properties.
