Wer bei der von dir skizzierten Nutzung ein ausreichend leistungsfähiges und noch funktionierendes Altgerät wegwirft, nur weil das neue weniger Strom braucht, hat irgendwas im Bereich Ökobilanz nicht verstanden. Bei 24/7 sieht das ganz anders aus. Ich setze hier übrigens eine passiv gekühlte Grafikkarte aus der eher untersten Mittelklasse ein, die (laut Benchmarkergebnissen) um ältere HighEnd-Karten mit heulenden Lüftern Kreise rennt. Braucht nicht einmal einen Zusatzstromstecker. Und die benötige ich auch nur, weil die Onboardgrafik leider nur zwei Bildschirme gleichzeitig ansteuern kann, von denen einer immer nur analoges VGA ist. Das können heutige Rechner besser. Btw.: Die Intel-Lüfter für diese Heizkachel-Pentiumse haben schnell mal 6 Watt für sich ganz alleine verbraten.
