Given how superior Turnpike was for handling newsgroups, I'm toying with
the idea of installing version 5 just for news, continuing to use TB for
email. IIRC v5 will run on a 64-bit machine, as it doesn't have v6's
built-in reliance on Windows Explorer, which was what scuppered it when
Microsoft did something to the 64-bit WE that rendered it incompatible
with TP. I've managed to find a copy of the v5.01 installer that I'd
squirrelled away somewhere on an old NAS back-up. (There was a v5.02
that I believe Richard Clayton produced for his own use, but I don't
think it was ever made available to the wider world.)
