It is simply a Google advert (or similar) which is based on words and
phrases on the pages you're reading - so reading pages about hotels /
travel will also display an advert about such things, which means
there's no way to stop it (short of disabling Google adverts with some
sort of plug-in / browser option). 

It may also be using terms you previously used in Google searches and
any resulting Google links you've clicked on. You could try deleting
the Google cookies or even all cookies (you'll likely lose the
auto-login for other websites).

Realistically, you're not going to stop adverts and there's absolutely
nothing to worry about ... unless you belong to the tin-foil hat
brigade, in which case the boogey man is coming to get you tonight, if
tyhe little grey aliens don't get you first.
