Amazingly Amazon has 512 MB SyncRAM listed. I'm not sure the BIOS wouldn't 
have a meltdown. It's been too long and I don't remember the specifics but 
I had one box where I couldn't use what was then the readily available and 
cheap hard drives because they were too big. I hit the local shops looking 
for a vintage drive and their answer was 'Nah, we just throw those in the 
dumpster if we get one.'
