Does anyone have any experience with free software-only OpenCL on AMD Radeon-based boards? I'm primarily interested in using it along with Debian GNU/Linux Wheezy, but I'd appreciate any comments on how well it works in general. I'm looking forward to acquire one of the following boards (both are fan-less, which is a pro, but not a crucial one): • Sapphire AMD Radeon HD6450 1024MB 64bit DDR3 [11190-02-XX]; • PCI-E Asus AMD Radeon HD6670 1024MB 128bit DDR3 [EAH6670 DC SL/DI/1GD3]. As per [1, 2], both should be supported by free software. TIA. [1] http://dri.freedesktop.org/wiki/GalliumCompute [2] http://www.x.org/wiki/RadeonFeature -- FSF associate member #7257
