Another honor for Dr. Paranoia aka Roy Schestowitz

"Roy Schestowitz

"David Gerard and I are discussing this over on the FB page. EVDebs (talk)
21:36, 21 December 2015 (UTC) Edit: For reference, this is the entry I
wrote:

Roy Schestowitz: A German academic in the UK, Schestowitz is one of the
more prominent members of a small group of free software advocates that
somehow manage to be more extreme than Richard Stallman himself. He started
with the blog Boycott Novell, which became Techrights.org, and has been a
nuisance in the FOSS community since 2006, when Novell made a (arguably
involuntary) deal with Microsoft to avoid patent litigation.

He portrays Microsoft as even more evil and influential than it actually
is (quite an accomplishment even in the Nadella era), and, like any good
tinfoil hatter, considers his favorite targets (Microsoft, Apple, Novell,
anyone Richard Stallman hates) as beyond redemption no matter what they do
(ie open sourcing Swift, .NET Core, etc). He has the same facility for
anvilicious, unfunny wordplay as the FSF, not only adopting their
terminology like "digital restrictions management", but creating a couple
of his own (like referring to every version of Windows as "Vista XX").
Also, I left out Schestowitz' fondness for the shill gambit. EVDebs (talk)

Why would I trust a k00k?

And it's even worse than that!

   http://www.ripoffreport.com/r/The-RationalWiki-Foundation/Albuquerque-New-Mexico-87106/The-RationalWiki-Foundation-RationalWiki-Rational-Wiki-RW-Rationalwikiorg-Rationalwi-1143383

The RationalWiki Foundation RationalWiki, Rational-Wiki, RW,
   Rationalwiki.org, Rationalwiki.com, Trent Toulouse A website with a
history of engaging in "cyber-vandalism" by its own admission, now a
registered nonprofit organization. Albuquerque New Mexico

And the nail in "Marly"'s coffin:

RationalWiki is a wiki, like Wikipedia. Anyone can change the content of
   articles at RationalWiki.

Yup. My first instincts were correct... another plant job against Roy.

Not that he doesn't go too far in some of his thinking, in my opinion.

Anyway, I suppose we should sigh in relief that it wasn't another
"cut off my testicles for Linux" plant.

Roy Schestowitz has been fighting for freedom, spreading the word against
corruption and promoting GNU/Linux for many years. It's because of his
views and willingness to take on the corrupt organizations that he is
attacked from all fronts.

Clearly he has made many enemies with deep pockets who will stop at
nothing in order to protect their cash cows. It is well known that
companies like Microsoft employ mercenaries to carry out their dirty work
and discrediting someone like Roy who dares to accurately document and
publicize what these corrupt companies are up to.

Things like testicle removal and fake Wiki articles are spawned by these
pay to hire soldiers of fortune.

I've donated small amounts of money to Roy's site several times now and I
suggest others try to help support him because he is clearly being
attacked for speaking the truth.
This thread is a prime example of that.

And you would be correct as the post was satirical prose.
Congratulations, you passed the test.

I'd put you in my "sin bin" as you call it, but it's not big enough to
handle a whale sized idiot like you.
I'm gonna need a bigger boat, err, bin.

That's excruciatingly boring not to mention geeky as well.

Congratulations, you failed the test.
It was satirical prose and being weak minded you didn't have the courage
to take a stand, or make a decision and disagree or agree with what I
wrote.

Awww, you're makin' me lachrymose that I failed to detect
a troll's "satirical prose".

So if it is satirical, why do I have to "make a decision" or "disagree or
agree" with it, or even "take a stand" about it?

You sound like Flounder or the Dizum Dipshit, which does not redound to
your credit, I would aver! Hold your tongue, impious fish!

In any case, your protestations notwithstanding, it is my considered
conviction that I actually passed a detection test, albeit not the
test that you assert. In the future, you should be cognizant of the
stipulation that any post that discusses Roy is likely to be dismissed out
of hand as the artifact of a feckless troll.

Oh Creepy. Are you still trying to impress people with your wonderfully silly collection of "big words"?

How awfully embarrassing for all concerned.

My God. What a weenie.

He wants to give the impression that Linux losers are smart people.
Meanwhile, people like John GodHesStupid, Wideload Porkster and 7
demonstrate that isn't the case.
