Staying with the idea of rules for the different forms:

Where name is a variable (of any datatype), then  name@  name!
can be short-forms for  name <fetch>  and  name <store>.

Many functions end up with GET or SET as a prefix to the name.
This can get clunky quickly, so using  @name  and  !name  for
those may be a better alternative.
