There is another way to look at it: problems with FIND and "XTs being
too simple" are a side effect of some techniques (other than
IMMEDIATE) for implementing words with non-default compilation
semantics.  If you use IMMEDIATE, there is nothing at all wrong with
FIND, and there is certainly nothing too simple about an XT.
