Who is "you"? Everyone who compiles the program should check it? Or
everybody who installs the compiled program on a computer? Or
everybody who runs such a program? So now we are from "blame the
programmer" to "blame the packager", "blame the sysadmin", or "blame
the user", just to avoid blaming the real culprit: the compiler
maintainer.
